Twilight Series - Book 3

Bella Swan is young woman who has recently been reunited with her boyfriend, a vampire, Edward Cullen. As Edward returns to Bella’s life a threat hangs over all of their heads due to her rescue of Edward in the previous book. Edward has to come to terms with what has been set in action and Jacob must determine how hard he is going to battle for Bella now that Edward is back.

Jacob is dealing with some intense changes in his life and loves Bella and does not want to loose her. Bella must determine if the life of being immortal is for her or if staying human and being loved by a werewolf is what she wants in life.  I found in this book I did not enjoy Jacob as much as the previous book and hope he can redeem himself for the next book.
Eclipse is the third in a new series by Stephanie Meyer. I sped through this book and was a little disappointed with this book. The writing was still enjoyable; however, the characters took on a role more of spoiled teenagers who are willing to have temper tantrums to get their way. This is; however, the way of a lot of teenagers nowadays so completely believable, just not as likeable. I would recommend reading this book, if you have started the series, as it does answer quite a few questions as Bella, Edward, the Cullen’s and the Pack deal with new dangers that come up.
