Jane Eden inherits an old house on the outskirts of Boston after her aunt dies. She finds out that all of the women that have lived in the old house have remained alone, unmarried and preferred to stay secluded in the house. She receives a letter from her Aunt who tells her that the house is magic and will fulfill her every want and fantasy and give her any lover she wants as long as she does not fall in love. She scoffs at this but soon finds out different. Two years later a famous actor appears in the picture and starts to complicate things for Jane when he starts to take control.
This was a great short story but had some issues with the flow and pacing. Otherwise the characters were enjoyable if Jane did not seem somewhat addicted and Luke the actor very conceited, interesting concept!
