He just had to get the Faberge egg back for Margaret. Although she was not related by blood, she was still his grandmother and Nate loved her. As a British agent, Nathaniel Bradley had the know how to track the stolen egg. He found himself across the Atlantic playing the part of a whore and tasked with seducing the son of a Mafia kingpin as part of elaborate con to sell a fake Faberge egg. Only the egg wasn't fake and the son was nothing like he'd imagined. Nate is not only attracted to Tony Terranova, Jr., he's beginning to fall for him. Tony's submissive side is so unexpected and so tempting to Nate's dominant desires. The con continues and the danger increases as Nate sees the game to its conclusion. But he's not he only one running a con and what he desires the most may be impossible to have.
I'm not sure exactly if I liked the story or not. There's some really hot sex and I really did like Nate and Tony, but the story felt so contrived. The con was interesting but not terribly believable. This story is written in the first person which is also not my favorite style. The plot does move along and there are a few surprises. And I'll mention the erotically kinky scenes again. Some are nicely done, but I think there was too much sex and not enough story. Overall, it was an okay story if not a memorable one.
British Agent Nathaniel Bradley is tasked with bringing home a stolen heirloom. After tracking the Faberge egg all the way to a group of criminals in New York, Bradley infiltrates a ring of con artists and gets sucked into the role of a high priced prostitute.
While hoping for a chance to take back what is rightfully his, Bradley's sole mission becomes to seduce Tony Terranova, Jr, the heir to a notorious mafia dynasty. Though Tony is strikingly handsome, the usually dominant Bradley is hesitant to submit to the sexual whims of a dangerous Mafioso.
What Bradley doesn't expect is for Tony to fall to his knees so eagerly for him, leaving him blindsided by how intensely their dark tastes complement each other. Now Bradley is caught up in a deadly game of lies and desire, where what he truly wants may not be what duty requires.
