Louise's, or Weetzie as she prefers to be called, is changing. After the bullying at school and her parents' constant fighting, she isn't sure of anything anymore. After her father leaves after the biggest fight yet, her mother passes out and falls into the pool. She is saved by a mysterious young man. Who is Winter and how does he know Louise's father. How will her life and herself change after meeting Winter and learning more about why her father left? I absolutely loved this book. I really enjoyed seeing L.A. through Weetzie's eyes. You will fall in love with Weetzie and all the other characters in "Pink Smog". I can't wait to read more by Francesca Lia Block.
